You are the Glory of Jerusalem, the joy of Israel; you are the fairest honor of our race.

On this Saturday, would you be so kind as to join me in honoring our Blessed Mother, using the words the Church has prescribed in the Breviary, Morning Prayer.

Salve Regina

Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness, and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve. To thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this vale of tears. Turn then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this our exile show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving O sweet Virgin Mary.

Thank you and don’t forget to offer little acts of love to our Blessed Mother on her special day.

Lord,

as we honor the memory of the Virgin Mary, we ask that by the help of her prayers we too may come to share the fullness of Your grace.

Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
