Pray For Us – Most Beautiful Mother!

Pray for Us - O Mother of Life! © GodAloneSufficeth.com, 2011.

Hello everyone! Do not worry I have not abandon my blog – although it may seem so with my (lack of) posting this week. I have been diligently studying: the Ideal Gas Laws and Advanced Abstract Equations and the great speeches of Sir. Winston  Churchill and gerunds, infinitives and participles (these last three I particularly detest studying) plus trying to get a strong footing in Latin – the Language of the Church. So I hope you will kindly excuse my absence from this blog. With All Saints Day and All Souls Day both coming up this week, I will earnestly attempt to post with more frequency and depth.

As you all know October is the Month of the Holy Rosary as well as Respect for Life Month. Therefore please join me in honoring Our Beautiful Mother with this prayer I composed:

Prayer to Mary – Mother of LIFE.

O Most Beautiful Mother, you said YES to God and answered His call. In spite of the trepidation which certainly came with your response – you still said yes. You knew that you would be subject to ridicule, scorn and contempt – yet you still said yes. Please come to the aid of the many young women experiencing unexpected pregnancies. Help them to say – as you did – yes to LIFE. Please also, O Mother of Life, give strength to those standing outside of the abortion clinics – giving witness to your YES TO LIFE. Help them to persevere. May you beseech your Holy Son to send his blessing upon us and our Nation. Amen.

Thank you and don’t forget to offer little acts of love to our Blessed Mother on her special day.

About KJ JMJ

Hello. My name is Ken. I have been discerning the Call for quite a long time, since I was knee high and my Grandpa took me to Holy Hill. I am particularly discerning a vocation as a Discalced Carmelite Friar. I hope this blog offers some assistance to you in discerning your own vocation. Please visit this blog often and journey with me as we all discover the call that God has given to each us.
